What an amateur!

Well this one didn’t go as planned.  But then again this was my first ever photograph with the Olympus Trip 35!

Seems the focus was off and the camera has set the focal point on the background.

I think I was too close to Tilly and shot in portrait mode.  Obviously I thought the point of focus was closer, thinking about it I was fairly close to her.  Need to move back a bit to get the shot I wanted.

I do like this shot though, especially Tilly’s expression as it looks like she is angry with me for getting the focus wrong!

A happy accident!

The “Beast from the East” has made it’s way to Colchester today and I took some time in my break (or rather I forced myself to have a break), I went out for a walk in the snow and shot some colour 35mm shots with the Trip.  I have noted the settings again and will be interested to see how they next film turns out when I develop them.

The photograph of Tilly was shot using Ilford FP4 Plus 125.

If you are interested in the Olympus Trip 35 Film Camera I am using, be sure to check out Amazon as there are some serviced ones for sale.

You can see more photos from this collection in my portfolio.
