#TBT Blossom

As I sit here on Easter weekend watching it rain, I wonder what has happened to spring.

I found this spring blossom photo which I captured a couple years ago. I haven’t seen much blossom on the tress yet so it was nice to rediscover this photo.

I noticed the dew drops on the petals which made me feel this was a timely photo to re edit.

Normally I don’t edit photos to HDR standard but boosted this photo to bring out the details.

It’s subtle in colour but the detail adds drama to such a simple subject.

I hope you’re enjoying this series of edited and reimagined photographs. It’s fun to go through old shots and see how I can enhance them with post production.
