A Beautiful Bank Holiday Monday

Today was the hottest early May bank holiday in the UK on record.

Nature was certainly making the most of the wonderful conditions. The light was bright and everything looked so vibrant.

Here’s two photos I took today.

On route to Wimpole Hall the sky was a bright blue and the rape blooms were a striking yellow against the sky.

Beautiful bank holiday Monday

The was no opportunity to stop as we were on the motorway but my Pixel 2 managed to take the snap I wanted at speed.

The gardens at Wimpole Hall were stunning today and these vibrant verigated tulips caught my eye.

There was mutiple buds in bloom but this patch of red and white caught my eye against the vibrant spring green of the foliage.

Such a lovely day and a wonderful long weekend. Roll on the next one!
