I put together my submission for my LRPS entry yesterday and had 15 shots printed onto board for the submission.
I stuck with the 10 I had originally decided to include in my hanging plan which meant this photo of a clematis didn’t make the cut.
I really like this photograph but to obtain the LRPS you have to be able to prove proficiency in photographic practices.
I know this is a good shot with depth of field and focus ok the back petals of the flower but I think it would not be viewed well as the whole flower is not in focus.
I could be wrong but for this reason I didn’t want to chance it so did not include the photo.
I still really like it and aim to get it framed to hang at home.
This is one shot I took on the Canon M3 which I used very briefly last summer.
What do you think of the photo?
I used One Vision Imaging to print my photographs and have used them to test various prints, papers and finishes. I highly recommend them if you want to print your work.
They also offer a great online tailored tool and their customer service is brilliant.
The 10 selected shots are all boxed up and ready for me to send tomorrow.
My assessment day is at the beginning of June so I have a little while to find out how I did. Fingers crossed.
