The New Recruits

Our nephew celebrated his passing out today. He is now an MOD Police Officer.

I was taken by this view of the Chief Constable watching the new recruits as they embark on their new life in the force.

I took my Pen f and my nifty fifty as I’d only planned to shoot portraits. I’d not realised there would be arms and dog exhibitions as well as the parade.

As the camera is new I hadn’t had chance to check and charge everything and sadly my battery ran out just as the parade finished.

I still got some interesting reportage shots from the day and like this view.

Congratulations to our nephew for such an achievement.
