Watermarks

Did you notice the watermark?

You may have noticed Continuous Focus has had a bit of an update.

I have refreshed the content and merged Continuous Focus with my photography portfolio Keith Tomlinson Photography.

What do you think of the dual name?  Does it make sense?  Did you notice?

You may also have noticed I have started to watermark my photographs.

It’s not normally something I agree with but I know my photos have been published in a few places and they will appear in a photographic publication soon (watch this space).  I, therefore, thought it was about time to try and build a brand for myself as well as doing something to protect my images.

Screenshot_20190902-074349I did conduct a poll on Twitter over the weekend and was surprised that it does feel like a subject that divides people…  There is no clear winner here.

I had the watermarked/branding designed and am really pleased with the results.  I am hoping the placement of the watermark is not intrusive.

I’d be very interested to hear your views on whether you think watermarks are a good idea.

Also, what do you think of my watermark – did you notice, is it ok, have I overstepped the (water)mark?

(Sorry)

Please drop me a line via the new contact form or leave a comment.  I am interested to hear your views.
