I’m half way through #marchthemonth and it’s going well.
I’ve kept up the steps even with long days at work and travelling home in the south west from the east of the country. It’s amazing where you can fit in extra steps when necessary.
This has also been the perfect excuse to pick up the running again. I’m running regularly and I’ve even managed pretty brutal intervals at my parents. Brutal as they live in the bottom of a valley and Plympton is very hilly. I’m sure this is all adding great strength building to my legs as I can certainly feel it in my calves.
Next step is to move from intervals and complete continuous runs again to get me back to running set distances.
My sponsorship is going well and I’m very proud of smashing my target and I am still raising money.
Spending time with my parents has reminded me how important the work of Prostate Cancer UK is and how much support and information they give to people going through the various stages of Cancer diagnosis and treatment. It’s good to be giving something back to this worthwhile cause.
Thanks to all who have sponsored and supported me. If you’d like, you can still sponsor me online.
My 11,000 photo project is also coming on well and I’ve taken a varied collection of photos for the zine.
I’ve started to put it together and hope to have it published as soon as I can after the end of #marchthemonth. Watch this space for details of how to get your copy (all proceeds will be going to Prostate Cancer UK).
