This is one of the first photographs I shot during the Street Photography Day with Homer Sykes in Portobello Road, London.

The lady was a little surprised I asked to take her photo and I had to check with the laundrette owner before I could.
I liked the concentration on her face and thought she was in interesting subject.
I have enjoyed looking at your “Homer Sykes” series. The colourful shop fronts look particularly attractive. Sometimes I ask people and sometimes I don’t. As a contrast, have you looked at Sam Abell’s work (might work with your style of photography)?

Thank you. Very kind of you to say so. Glad you enjoyed that selection of photos. I’ve now heard of Sam but will take a look. Thanks again.
