Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi is a town in west Thailand. It’s known for the Death Railway, built during WWII. The line crosses over the River Khwae Yai via the Death Railway Bridge*.

First three images shot with Olympus Pen f with pro lens. Last two shot with Google Pixel 3.

*As featured in the movie “Bridge over the river Kwai”.

We wanted to come to see the bridge as both of our parental grand father’s faught in Burma and this area in WWII.
