Frozen and Expired

Today I loaded up the Ricohmatic 225 with my first ever expired and frozen film (I thawed it out fully first).

The Fujifilm Provia 100F was part of my Emulsive Secret Santa.

The weather report was for sunny weather with clear skies so I decided to defrost the film last night and load it into the camera today.

We took a drive to Maldon for a crisp and fresh walk along the promenade.

The sun was high and bright and there were no clouds in the sky.

I think I have some nice photos although for one shot I accidentally tripped the self timer. At least this time when I pressed the shutter I realised and held the camera steady until the camera took the shot.

I am just waiting for my photos to return from the developers.

The Ricohmatic is a joy to use and on such a bright day the viewing window is crisp and clear. It’s really easy and quick to line up the shots and shoot.

I’m really interested to see how the photos come out with this film stock, especially as it’s expired stock.

I’ll post the photos once they’re developed.

I hope you enjoy visiting my site. Why not help support me by buying me a coffee?
