NYC 2020 Video Diary

This won’t win any Oscars but it’s a nice capsule of our trip to New York.

Shot with the DJI Osmo Pocket.

I learnt some lessons from this video, most notable not to use the scroll wheel as much as I did!  The sweeping shots I thought I had taken were not so great in reality and I ended up cutting a lot out.  I should spend more time relying on the camera tracking things and me either standing still or moving and not the gimble.

It was hard to control the Osmo Pocket in the cold with my gloves which is why I used the wheel as I could not use the touch screen.

At least I have learnt that lesson.

But to be fair the quality of the footage I got from the Osmo is brilliant.

I did use an ND filter for some of the work but not all of it (as I thought I lost it in the beginning!)
