Star Trails II

Another clear night and another attempt at star trail photography.

Live Composite 1 sec intervals 30 mins f/1.7 ISO 1500 25mm Olympus Pen f

Tonight Richard both set up our cameras and I tried the Osmo Pocket (but that wasn’t successful).

The shot above is different from last night’s attemptas I increased the ISO, change the metering to centered and pre-focussed in day light. I also adjusted the white balance to 4900.

This photo is the raw straight out of the Olympus Pen f. It’s got blue cast due to the white balance but I’ll check out the Raw file in the morning which should resolve thos

Note the two planes crossing the path of the stars.

I’m rather enjoying this.

Good night!
