The first print of my photo book No Longer Ordinary arrived today from the printers and I’m really excited.
I taught myself how to use InDesign last week and am really pleased with the results.
I have however switched to Affinity Publisher as that’s far more affordable! Adobe’s pricing is just scandalous.
I have a few tweaks to make but I hope to get the next edit back to the printers soon and to start my new venture… My own Etsy store full of products I am making and curating myself.
I’ve enjoyed making photo books with Blurb but to be honest I think they are expensive and slow on delivery so I want to give this a shot.
Producing the books myself with a UK print house who offer a great result, delivered to me in quick time and at a reasonable price.
Even with all the Covid restrictions in place, I managed to get this book developed, printed and in my hands in under a week.
I’m really excited to finish this book and putting it up for sale on my brand new Etsy store (details to follow).
I’m not resting on my laurels though as I already have the idea for the next book and I am considering recreating the editions I put together previously.
Watch this space.
In the meantime you can check out what is already for sale online in my current store section.
