As part of my In Focus articles where I share what has got my attention in the world of photography (or things I have achieved in this space), I am sharing this insightful interview. I hope you enjoy it.
As a photographer who has completely got a case of GAS*, I can completely related to the points Daniel Milnor has made in this video.
When I think back to the start of the pandemic, I took the FujiFilm X100T on my walks and I loved using it. The fixed lens meant I had to learn how to frame my shots and work with the camera I had.
Before long I didn’t think about it and it became a natural reaction to the tool I had with me.
Somewhere along the way I have gotten wrapped up in gear again. I love the Polaroid SX-70. I love my Olympus. My medium format cameras etc… But maybe I should just stick to one…
We have a break coming up so I will have to plan what I take with me and at present I am thinking about the Polaroid and the Pen f with the 17mm and the 25mm lenses. Let’s see just how much I pack into my kit bag!
I highly recommend the Advancing Your Photography channel, why not stop by and have a look?
