Commuting, Thai style!

This photo hides the mild panic and anxiety I was feeling at the time.
Barry and I had made our way to the station for the train to Kanchanburi. Richard and Bruce were in another taxi.
They’re taxi got lost and unbeknown to us, we didn’t know where they were and they were speeding their way back across Bangkok at rush hour in a Tuk Tuk (laden down with both their three weeks luggage).
There is (I think) only one train a day or a couple trains a week to Kanchanburi and Barry and I were trying to decide what to do.
Thankfully Richard and Bruce did make it in time but it was a bit touch and go!
I got my camera out to take my mind of the unfolding drama and loved the calm of the Thai travellers boarding the daily trains.
You’d never been allowed to board the trains in such fashion here in the UK but in Bangkok people were walking over the connections of one train to get to the train behind.
I also recall all the Thai dogs wandering the lines like there was no care in the world.
We all made it to Kanchanburi.
