Quarantine means different things to different people. During quarantine (or lockdown), I believe my experience has been better than others. In some way, mine could be considered Paradise.
I have documented the first six months of my quarantine, capturing the world I had access to in my latest photobook “Paradise Quarantine“.
Follow me during my Quarantine journey through a collection of colour photographs capturing this unique moment in time, featuring the landscape of Essex in England.
This photo collection was taken during the UK lockdown and depicts what it was like for me. My own personal record of how I spent my government recommended “one moment of exercise a day” in the fresh air.
Capturing how my neighbours were adjusting. The outpouring of recognition for key workers. The unique stillness at such an ununusal time.
The photos were all taken within 5 minutes walk of my home in Colchester, England whilst I was observing the UK Governments lockdown laws.
This is an eclectic mix of photographs featuring my local neighbourhood, the countryside and my first attempts at astrophotography.
